Stop Chasing Breakouts! Trade Reversals with OI + IV + BB
In this video, I explain a high-probability intraday reversal trading strategy using Trigger Tool, Open Interest (OI), Implied Volatility (IV), and BB.
We start by identifying important support and resistance levels where maximum OI change or addition has occurred—these levels reveal institutional activity.
Next, we analyze Implied Volatility to understand whether the market is likely to reject levels or sustain breakouts.
When IV is decreasing, breakouts often fail, making reversal trades more probable. That’s why this strategy focuses only on mean reversion trades, not momentum chasing.
Finally, we use VWAP for the intraday targets using its bands, during the session.
This strategy is ideal for intraday traders, option traders, and derivative traders who want to trade with logic, data, and probability.
